In addition, you can cook the most fragrant dishes, without immersing the whole apartment in their smell. However, sooner or later, the hood itself will have to be cleaned. If you do not want the process to be delayed for the whole day and are opposed to aggressive chemicals in your kitchen, try this effective method.
You will need:
- Baking soda;

Choose the capacity in which the grid will need to be left to soak. Collapsible lattice will fit into the kitchen sink, and for washing one-piece, you will have to allocate a basin or even the entire bathroom.
Fill the selected container with hot water.You can boil a kettle or a large saucepan, but if you have enough hot water from the tap, use it.
Add in the water a few caps of dishwashing detergent and as many table spoons of soda. The amount of water and funds depends on the volume of your tank. It is important that the water completely covers the grate and does not cool too quickly.
Leave the grate for 10-15 minutes. This is enough for the fat to dissolve.
Now you can start cleaning. The water and the grill are still very hot, so it’s best to do all the work with rubber gloves. If the dirt is too strong, you can repeat the procedure first.
It remains to rinse the grill with hot water to remove traces of the product. After that, dry all parts with a towel, and then install into the device.
The grille is ready to protect your exhaust from soot and soot.
