What should be New Year's salads?

"Little Red Riding Hood"

This salad is very tasty, and the list of products is as follows:

  • 400 grams of smoked chicken breast (or baked with spices in foil);
  • 4 potatoes;
  • three large carrots;
  • five chicken eggs;
  • 200 grams of hard cheese;
  • a glass of chopped walnuts;
  • 100 ml of mayonnaise;
  • Pomegranate seeds for the final decor;
  • to taste the salt.


  1. Boil the potatoes in a peel, peel and cut into cubes of medium size.
  2. Wash carrots very well and cut into cubes as well.
  3. Cook hard-boiled eggs, cool, peel and dice too.
  4. Grind smoked or baked chicken breast like other ingredients.
  5. Grind hard cheese on a coarse grater.
  6. Walnuts need any way to grind, for example, chop with a knife. They should not turn out to be too small.
  7. Now start forming a salad. This will require a special molding ring for salads or a detachable baking mold.
  8. Put potatoes on the bottom of the tank, pickle and grease with mayonnaise.
  9. Then put the chicken, also smear mayonnaise.
  10. The next layer is walnuts.
  11. Then lay the grated cheese and cover with mayonnaise.
  12. It was the turn of carrots, which need a little salt.
  13. It remains to lay the eggs and smear them with mayonnaise.
  14. Finally, the finishing touch is the pomegranate seeds at the top, which just make the salad look like a red cap.

  • 300 grams of fresh champignons, frozen or any canned mushrooms;
  • three potatoes;
  • 4 eggs;
  • big head of onions;
  • 150 grams of any hard cheese;
  • sunflower or other vegetable oil for frying;
  • for refueling mayonnaise.


  1. First, go in for mushrooms: if frozen are used, defrost them beforehand, and then cut them. Also at this stage is preparing onions: it should be cleaned and shred. Heat oil in a skillet, put onions and mushrooms in it, fry until it is ready. To remove excess oil, you can put the finished components on a thick paper napkin.
  2. Boil potatoes in uniform and boil eggs (the latter are boiled hard boiled). Peel potatoes, grate on a grater. Divide eggs into yolks and whites, rub them separately. Immediately rub on the grater and cheese.
  3. It now remains to form your salad. The first layer is laid fried onions with mushrooms, then comes potatoes, followed by egg whites, then yolks, and then cheese. All layers, except the onion-mushroom, you need to coat with mayonnaise. Do not forget to salt the salad.

Tip! For decoration, use fresh greens or whole mushrooms.

"A princess"

Traditional Christmas salads must be exquisite, and the "Princess" fully meets this requirement. You need to prepare for:

  • a can of salmon preserved in its own juice or other red fish, for example, salmon or pink salmon;
  • a jar of canned corn;
  • 5-6 chicken eggs;
  • 200 grams of hard cheese;
  • a rather large onion head;
  • 2 sweet and sour green apples;
  • mayonnaise;
  • tablespoon of lemon juice;
  • ground pepper with salt.

Cooking salad is easy:

  1. From a jar of canned salmon, drain all the liquid, and knead the fish with a fork or knife.
  2. Peel the onion, shred.
  3. Boil eggs hard-boiled, divide into whites and yolks, rub the ingredients separately.
  4. Cheese is also rubbed on a coarse grater.
  5. Apples free from the skins and hearts, and then rub, like other components.
  6. Form the salad: lay the ground fish on the bottom of the salad bowl, cover with mayonnaise, put onion, then yolks (they too are smeared with mayonnaise), then apples, cheese, mayonnaise and canned corn again. All the layers, except the salmon (he must be so salty), salt and pepper.
  7. For beauty, you can top the salad with red caviar or slices of lightly salted red fish.

"Christmas decorations"

This salad will also take a worthy place on the New Year's table, and for its preparation you need:

  • 400 grams of canned fish (for example, sardines, saury or pink salmon) or boiled fillets;
  • one large beet;
  • three potatoes;
  • two large carrots;
  • three salted or pickled cucumbers;
  • two eggs;
  • greenery;
  • mayonnaise.

The recipe is:

  1. Boiled fish should be separated from the bones (if they are present in the fillet) and finely chopped. Just mash the canned fork.
  2. Cook beets, peel and rub. Just do with carrots and potatoes.Salted cucumbers are cut into cubes. Cook hard boiled eggs, chop too. Chop greens finely.
  3. Now in a bowl, mix all the ingredients with mayonnaise. But leave some carrots and beets for decoration. Place the mixture on a flat dish, form a hemisphere, divide it with strips of mayonnaise into three parts and decorate each with beetroot, carrot and greens. It turns out original and bright!


If you need to make a salad quickly, use this option. It will take:

  • 300 grams of shrimp;
  • 100 grams of rice;
  • 150 grams of canned corn;
  • eggs;
  • mayonnaise;
  • onion head optional;
  • salt.

Cooking is simple:

  1. Boil the shrimp and peel.
  2. After washing, boil rice.
  3. Boil hard boiled and cut into cubes of eggs.
  4. Shred onions.
  5. Combine ingredients, add mayonnaise and salt, mix the salad.
